BABËL:

FROM NEW YORK TO IBIZA

For the past decade, BABËL has grown from a music collective into a global movement, redefining nightlife as a space for deep human connection. Now, it embarks on a new chapter in Ibiza, a place synonymous with artistic freedom and cultural expression.

BABËL was never just about music; it was about creating a sanctuary, an antidote to the superficiality of nightlife. Inspired by the ethos of Burning Man, ancient myths, and the power of music as a universal language, BABËL was born as a philosophy, not a brand. The name, drawn from the Tower of Babel myth, symbolizes breaking down barriers through music and uniting people beyond words. With a mission to Unite Humanity Through the Power of Music. Always. Everywhere., BABËL curates immersive experiences that prioritize authenticity, inclusivity, and storytelling.

BABËL has partnered with legendary artists like Cerrone, Black Coffee, Swizz Beatz, and The Marley Family, alongside cultural institutions like the United Nations, Sleep No More, Queen of the Night, The Rainforest Foundation, and Burning Man. These collaborations go beyond entertainment, blending music, art, and activism to create lasting impact.

BABËL has never been just an event, it has been a movement. But every movement evolves.

After creating and launching the iconic club Gospël in NYC, parting ways with it was a defining moment, one that signaled a shift toward something even more profound. And now, in Ibiza, the next chapter begins. A hidden sanctuary is being unveiled. A place where music, magic, mysticism, and human connection will merge in ways never seen before.

Something is coming. And those who step inside will never see the world the same way again.

Interview with BABËL’s Founder: Waël Mechri-Yver

BABËL has evolved into a global movement. What first sparked its creation?

It was born out of frustration—nightlife had lost its soul. I wanted to create a space where music, art, and spirituality could merge in a way that felt real. Something immersive. Something deeply human. BABËL is that effort to bring soul back into our lives.

The name BABËL carries a powerful symbolism. What does it represent?

It’s about breaking down barriers. In the biblical story, language divided people. But music? Music unites. It’s the one language we all understand. It is our solution to the old division of this world. Music brings us all together.

BABËL left New York and is now setting roots in Ibiza. Why now?

New York gave us the most incredible memories, but movements must evolve. Ibiza is a gateway to something deeper, an island with an ancient spirit, where music isn’t just entertainment but a ritual. Here, we can push boundaries further than ever before. We can be free, and that is priceless.

BABËL has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. What role do these collaborations play in your journey?

Our collaborations are alchemic—we not only collaborate, but we learn from them. When you bring artists like Black Coffee, Cerrone, and The Marley Family into the fold, it’s no longer just about music; it’s about shaping culture. And when you partner with institutions like The Rainforest Foundation and Burning Man, you elevate the experience beyond entertainment into something truly transformative. You create, you work, but you are also back in the best university—the Passion School.

Something new is brewing in Ibiza. Can you tell us more?

Let’s just say—it won’t be a club party. It will be a celebration, a ritual. An experience that will rewrite the rules of music, storytelling, and human connection. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to create something that has been rarely seen before.

All I can say is this: Ibiza is about to change forever.

How does BABËL maintain its artistic integrity while navigating commercial success?

We do our best to never chase trends. We build culture. Money follows authenticity, not the other way around. What we create is timeless, designed to outlast the fleeting hype.

What were the greatest challenges in building BABËL?

Growth is a double-edged sword. Staying true to our roots while expanding was a challenge. Leaving NYC’s Gospël was a hard decision, but we knew—to evolve, we had to let go.

And what is the ultimate vision for BABËL’s future?

To go beyond nightlife. To build a legacy. We’re diving deeper into the world of music, its production, immersive storytelling, and cultural innovation. What’s coming next? Let’s just say… soon, the world will understand what BABËL truly is.
